Database of Standards
The Academic Benchmarks Database of Standards contains 1.6 million state, national, local district, and international standards in a configurable, electronic format for use and application by all stakeholders in the K-12 education community.
Within the Database, each standard is assigned an Academic Benchmarks Globally Unique Identifier (AB GUID), the standard’s fingerprint. The AB GUID enables a standard to have a constant reference point across countless relationships, whether the connection is with content or other standards.

I don't think there is a more comprehensive set of state standards data or robust alignment system available.... and I have seen them all.
—Jackie Gianola-Quinn, Vice President, Content, Testing and Assessment Division, Scantron, Inc.
Continually managed and reviewed by Academic Benchmarks for accuracy and updates, the Database of Standards provides several key benefits to the education provider community, including:
-
Consolidation of standards information and data formats developed by disparate state and local sources in one place;
-
Elimination of need to maintain standards with internal resources;
-
Acceleration of implementation of strategic relationships with K-12 partners due to a single reference language by which companies can share aligned content;
-
Ability to develop customized tools around standards and products.
The Database of Standards is available for subscription on a per-state, per-subject basis.
