Data Capture Specialist (DCS-2)

The ideal candidate for Data Capture Specialist is a technology-savvy person who can learn a complex data system and procedures for capturing educational standards data within a proprietary technology system. Familiarity with educational curricular content and learning standards is highly desirable. This is a half-time position that would begin immediately with potential for growth in the future.

Requirements

  • Experience with databases of information and/or data entry systems
  • Experience in using a variety of other technologies (spreadsheets, online tools, shared applications, etc.) directly for data capture and tracking as well as for communication in internal and remote environments
  • Attention to details and excelled proofreading skills
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and benchmark delivery dates
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of audiences
  • Flexibility in adapting to new challenges in fast-paced educational technology industry
  • Bachelors' Degree in a field related to requirements of the position

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in education, educational publishing, editing, or working with state/national curriculum standards

Working from the Academic Benchmarks office located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is desirable, but remote candidates will be considered.
